II. PURPOSES OF PROCESSING

a) Comments

When you leave a comment on our website, the data entered in the comment form, your IP address and your browser's user agent are collected to help us detect undesirable comments.

An anonymized string created from your e-mail address (also known as a hash) can be sent to the Gravatar service to check whether you are using it. Gravatar's privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment has been validated, your profile photo will be publicly visible next to your comment.

We collect information about visitors who comment on sites using Akismet, our anti-spam service. The information collected depends on the Akismet settings made by the user on the site, and generally includes the commenters' IP address, user agent, referrer and site URL (as well as other information provided directly by the commenter such as their name, username, e-mail address and comment).

b) Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site, you will be asked to save your name, e-mail address and website in cookies. This is only for your convenience, so that you don't have to enter this information if you leave another comment later. These cookies expire after one year.

If you have an account and log on to this site, a temporary cookie will be created to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. It contains no personal data and will be deleted automatically when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will set a number of cookies to record your login information and screen preferences. The lifetime of a connection cookie is two days, that of a screen option cookie is one year. If you check "Remember me", your login cookie will be kept for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookie will be deleted.

c) How long your data is stored

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are stored for 5 years. This makes it possible to automatically recognize and approve subsequent comments instead of leaving them in the moderation queue.

d) Your rights regarding your data

If you have an account or if you have left comments on the site, you may request to receive a file containing all the personal data we hold about you, including that which you have provided to us. You can also request the deletion of your personal data. This does not include data stored for administrative, legal or security purposes.

e) Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager (web analysis)

Our website uses Google Analytics and Google Tag Web Analytics Manager from Google Inc. 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States ("Google").

Based on your consent, Google will analyze your use of our website for the purpose of fulfilling our mission. We use the cookies described above for this purpose. The information collected by Google when you use our site (e.g. intercept URL, web pages visited, browser type, your language choices, your operating system, screen resolution) will be transferred to Google in the USA, where it is stored and analyzed. The results will then be available in anonymous form. Personal data will not be associated with your full IP address, as required by law. On our website, we have activated the IP anonymization function powered by Google, which means that the last 8 characters (IPv4 type) or the last 80 bits (IPv6 type) of your IP address will be deleted. Google is also certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield, which guarantees an adequate level of data security in data processing by Google in the USA.
